Green Oaks Golf Course

You need not be a golfer to appreciate the beauty of the back nine at your Township golf course -- Green Oaks. However, you do have to be a player to enjoy the value of its well-kept fairways, large undulating greens, numerous arbors, and the all-around maturity of this 32-year-old course. The challenge this course brings to the beginning, as well as seasoned golfer through it water hazards, sand traps, roughs and pin placement is unmatched as a municipal property. On top of it all, Township residents and senior citizens receive discount rates -- What A Course!

Green Oaks is located at 1775 East Clark Road (next to the Community Center). You can reach the staff at Green Oaks by calling (734) 485-0881.

Tee Times

Green Oaks accepts tee times up to a week in advance, and is open for the season from March 1st through December 1st, daylight to dark. Open Tee Times is from daylight to 3pm and Fridays until 5pm (Please call for tee times).

Leagues

Green Oaks has openings for new leagues in 2008. This is a great opportunity for your friends, family and co-workers to meet and compete each week. Let our Pro.s design a league to fit your needs.

Outings

Looking for a great course to hold a golf outing? Our professional staff has many years of experience to help you design your golf outing to fit your needs. Two outdoor pavilions, grills and catering are available at affordable rates.

Etiquette Does Apply

• Shirts must be worn at all times.
• Always tee-off on hole number one (unless told otherwise at the Pro Shop).
• Keep all carts at least 30 feet from greens.
• Replace your and someone else's divots; repair ball marks; and rake the sand traps.
• Call "FORE" if you even think you're close to hitting someone.
• Allow faster players to play through.
• The course ranger is in charge of play.
• USGA rules govern all play. Some local rules apply.

The Amenities

Green Oaks offers a full-line Pro Shop, including clubs, clothing, shoes, bags and accessories. Groups and private golf lessons by the Pro are also available. While there is no club rental or driving range, there is a practice cage and a huge well-kept putting green to sharpen your skills before teeing-off. Gas golf carts and pull carts are available for rental. For those with an appetite, Green Oaks offers a variety of snacks, sandwiches, hot dogs, soft drinks, coffee, and donuts. Barbecue grills and catering are also available to handle all of your outing needs.
